Overview
@Phone AT-221D allows users to route voice and fax calls over a Dial Up IP network to lower telephone toll charges. AT-221D is a one port gateway offering a cost-effective and simple way to immediately utilize VoIP--the users just connect an analog telephone to the AT-221D and follow basic set up procedures to enable their office for VoIP. AT-221D is a one port model convenient for connecting a telephone on the VoIP system for using dial up connection.
Standard-based
@Phone AT-221D supports the ITU-T H.323 standards. AT-221D will interwork with any vendor products complying with the H.323 specifications. AT-221D is compatible with any standards-based PBXs, key systems (KTS), and analog telephones. AT-221D can be connected to a PBX or KTS CO port and a standard RJ-11 port on an analog phone. For IP networking, the existing PSTN can be used with the AT-221D system to connect to dial-up ISP. @Phone can be remotely managed via a remote modem over PSTN line.
PSTN Back Up
Against power failure or IP network problems, AT-221D has a PSTN backup function that automatically enables the user to make calls via the regular telephone network. Thus, at no point will AT-221D users be without critical phone services.
